Farewell at our church in Singapore - BCC (9)
On Sunday, 20 September, our church had a farewell lunch for us following the morning worship service. Vic and I have been so-o-o-o blessed by the community of believers at BCC. We are surely going to miss them! -

Singapore Zoo (13)
Earlier this week Vic & I made a trip to the Singapore Zoo, our first in 12 years! We were surprised when we realized what we have missed out on until now. Utilizing the "open concept", most animals in the zoo are kept in spacious natural settings, with only a wet or dry moat separating them from the zoo's visitors. Probably one of the nicest zoos in the world. -

Trip to Alcoa, IL (13)
A week ago I went with two of my sisters and an aunt to visit an Amish community in Alcoa, IL. We had a great time together learning more about the simple lives of the Amish people, and why they choose to live this way. -
Journey to Thailand (31)
On 15 August we headed to Chiang Mai, Thailand, to check out a venue for a workshop early next year. Since this coincided with our 30th wedding anniversary, we decided to take it a bit slow and took the train from Singapore all the way to Chaing Mai. It was an interesting journey and we're glad we did it. -
Holiday in Wales July 2008 (32)
After our meetings in England we traveled by train to Wales were we spent a wonderful week with friends and enjoyed the beauty of the Welsh countryside and culture. -
ITP Staff Get-together - July 2008 (13)
On 13-17 July 2008 ITP held its first-ever all-staff get-together in Southern England. Twelve were in attendance, with family units not able to attend. -
Hope Harvesters sing-along (4)
On Saturday, 19 October, many of Dad and Mom's friends from our home church came together at Dad's nursing home for fellowship and to sing some gospel hymns. Both Dad and Mom enjoyed this time together immensely. It was obvious that Dad has missed the blessing of being able to go to church since he entered the nursing home. -

We started off the week of meetings with our ministry leaders with a great meal at one of our favorite restaurants in Singapore - Muthu's Curry! Of course, fish head curry was the main course. -
